On 29 January, Nikon announced that Singaporean Chay Yu Wei had won a Facebook contest with the following image...

Superbly composed, the image was widely applauded, particularly for the patience that Yu Wei must have exercised to line the shot up.

But not everyone was convinced.

Such was the apparent perfection of the image, that some amongst Nikon's Facebook community took it upon themselves to got CSI on the winning image. Things quickly started to unravel...

Nikon duly pulled the image and the content from its page, but not before the (mildly) enraged community began having some fun with it...
