Netflix's Stranger Things in VR is terrifying
05 August 2016

We've had the sound track on repeat, we've debated its mysteries - heck, we've even been dressing like the characters

But now Netflix is giving us the chance to actually step inside the world of Stranger Things. Well - step inside it with a smartphone glued to your eyes.

To stoke up the runaway hype train, the streaming giant has created a virtual reality/360-degree experience you can watch from the comfort of your computer, or access via a compatible headset (Google Cardboard, Samsung VR, that kind of stuff).

The experience has you following in the footsteps of Joyce Byers (played most excellently by Winona Ryder), interacting with her missing son Will in her deserted house. It's tense, it's creepy... that's it, we're rewatching it again.
