LEGO cosplay is like a real-life horror movie

It makes clowns look positively cuddly

LEGO cosplay is like a real-life horror movie
28 July 2016

Forget your fear of clowns, spiders and heights - we've found your new nightmare material right here.

For the latest episode of YouTube series Adam Savage's Tested (that chap from Mythbusters), Frank Ippolito sought to make an impression on the costumed halls of this year's Comic-Con.

Rather than going down the tried-and-tedious route of donning a cape and too much Lycra, Ippolito put his incredible special effects skills to work, sculpting his very own distinctive LEGO head and arms - as though they were made out of human flesh. Its name? The Creepyfig - a life-sized, LEGO-inspired mask.

To see how Ippolito got on, check out the video below. Be warned, you'll never be able to sleep in the same room as a LEGO figure ever again.
