Pulsating Trailer For Grey Goo Strategy Game

Published

While it might sound like the title of a 1950s horror, you should take Grey Goo. Very seriously.

The idea of this terrifying gunk was first mentioned by a chap called Eric Drexler in his 1986 book, Engines of Creation. He imagined a future in which tiny robots originally created to build or dismantle biological material turned nasty, replicating to massive numbers and devouring all life. It's a future that's about to arrive next week. Sort of.

Grey Goo is a real-time strategy game that sees players to take control of an army of sci-fi sludge, humans or aliens in a war to control a far off planet. Originally created by the humans to help them explore space, the Goo is now a self-directed force of immense power, creating units and weapons at will.

With a story-driven single player campaign and competitive multiplayer to test your skills, it's not long before Grey Goo consumes your year.

Grey Goo is out for Microsoft Windows on 23 January
