While Assassin's Creed has never been 'light hearted', its latest HD entry is decidedly more weighty than recent swashbuckling adventures.

Justice for All HD returns to Liberation's timeline, casting players in the role of Aveline de Grandpré - an heroine born to an African slave and wealthy French merchant. Upon discovering that the Templars are tightening their grip on New Orleans' slave trade, Aveline joins with the assassin's in an effort to protect her people.

This updated Vita title promises whips, swords and "a true HD experience", looking to make a trip back to Liberation a worthwhile venture. Think Django Unchained, but without any Australian cowboys.
