"A foldable tablet! Awesome! What should we call it?" "How about a f-ab... oh, hang on, that one's taken." "Folable-t?" "Hmmm. Needs work."

Well, whatever they end up calling it, this looks incredibly cool.

A foldable tablet, or smartphone, has been in the works for a while, but it looks like it might finally be nearing completion.

A new rumour from Chinese website Weibo suggests that Samsung is planning to launch "Project Valley" in January 2016 - which could be an unveiling of an early prototype  folding device at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The site also says that there are two versions of the device running current processors, the Snapdragon 620 and 820, with Project Valley possibly being a testbed for the next Galaxy S7.
