The World’s First Smart Headphones

The World’s First Smart Headphones

The World’s First Smart Headphones
27 November 2014
If the current clamour in the tech market is anything of a yardstick, fast-forward 30 years from now and you can count it fairly likely that smart watches will have enslaved mankind. Their rise has been unstoppable.

Less so headphones, for obvious reasons. And yet this hasn't stopped Muzik from developing the world’s first smart pair, simply dubbed the Muzik On-Ear Headphones, and packing in more high-tech wizardry than you might imagine.

So just what can they do? Integrated phone controls will allow you to post whatever you’re listening to on social media, pinpoint the location you’re at, email songs you think people might appreciate – you know, on the off chance you want someone to better appreciate the nuanced lyrics of Nelly’s Hot In Here.

Customizable hot keys, motion sensors and Siri capabilitiy just round off this audio slice of the future, now available to pre-order at Muzik’s official website for £190.

Though we realise all this would all be superfluous without a decent sound, but don’t worry: the aluminium HD cans house memory foam cushions and 40mm custom dual diaphragm drivers, so they should sound nice.

Who knows, they might even block out the screams when the tech apocalypse begins.
