Sometimes it's hard to let go of the past. It's why we're still struggling to take our old VHS tapes to the skip and why we're pretending that there will be a third series of Spaced at some point in the future.

If you're a gamer than you've probably burned your way through a number of consoles in your life and you've probably moved onto each new machine with a mixture of excitement and sadness.

If this is you all over then we're expecting a lot of love for this bad boy.

Project Unity by Bacteria is an ambitious project that squeezes 15 consoles into one machine. It took a whopping 3,500 hours to create and is valued at $1,075 (£700).

The gamer's dream features the following: Armstrad GX1000, Atari 7800, Colecovision, Intellivision, NEC TurboGrafx X, NeoGeo MVS, Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Sega MegaDrive (Genesis), Sega Master System, Sega Saturn, Sony PlayStation 2 and a Super Nintendo (SNES).

Impressively, it only needs one master controller.

Sadly, it's not for sale but you can watch an exhaustive video on how it was made below:
