iOS9 Glitch Means You Can Finally Get Rid of Those Annoying Apps
06 October 2015

The city of London employs around 700,000 people. That leaves 63.4m of us in the UK who have no interest in how the stock market is performing.

Yet, still Apple insists on making us keep the utterly pointless Stock App on our iPhones, taking up memory and screen space which could be better used for more fun things. Like Football Manager or Stick Cricket.

But help is at hand...

Techbout have discovered a new workaround in iOS9 - the result of a bug - which lets you put app folders within other folders. iOS has always had the option for folders, but never nested ones, meaning that you can stuff everything that you're never going to use, all in one place, deep within your app screen (sadly you still can't delete them).

You simply need to create two app folders - one will be your 'main' folder and the other will be your sub-folder where you store all those annoying apps. Hold down an icon until they start jiggling and you're in 'edit' mode. Now press and hold down your sub-folder, and then keep tapping your main folder - eventually it will pop open and then you can stick your subfolder in there. Check the video below to see it in action.

If this doesn't work, try the alternative method, following the video below.

Pretty neat. Literally.
