Vans Sk8 Paradise Collection

Yes, we know. We think that "Sk8" is an abuse of the English language as well. No, we didn't put the eight in there - Vans did, along with those alternative folk at Taka Hayashi. But given that they've managed to lift our winter gloom with their new shoe collaboration, we're willing to let this one slide.

Titled Sk8 Paradise, Taka Hayashi have spun some Mexican flavours into two classic Vans models - the OG Authentic and OG Sk8-Hi. Blending a design of hand-drawn skating skeletons and Paisley-like floral patterns, the soft tan and blue colourways help bring some much needed Day of the Dead vibrancy to November's gloom. 

Set to arrive on the Vans Vault later this month, we'll be joining the virtual queue with the other sk8er fans keen for a taste of paradise.
