Spring is teasing us. Chilly mornings give way to balmy lunchtimes, leaving you feeling like a sweaty fool parading around in one too many layers. To make matters worse, Puma are joining in with the seasonal charade.

This is Puma's Suede Deconstruct, a lightweight summer shoe aching for an outing to a barbecue sans socks - which is still some weeks off, despite what we might tell ourselves.

The brand's iconic Suede silhouette has been stripped down considerably, resulting in a minimalist trainer lacking in bulk or padding. The perforations of the Puma stripe, tongue and toe piece allow air to move around, keeping your toes chilled. Here's hoping the weather behaves itself - a single puddle could ruin this sleek sneaker.

Available in grey, black, red and blue, you can pick up a pair for around £55.
