adidas Originals wintery ZX Flux

Someone needs to give the MET Office a nudge - the weather is playing havoc with the fashion calendar. It's almost 20 degrees outside and here we are sweating over adidas' new winter-ready ZX Flux.

Shedding the summer's breathable, woven layers, the latest version of adidas Originals' popular running-stroke-lifestyle trainer has hardened up for the coming sleet and sludge. A Cordura ballistic nylon envelopes the shoe's upper, the grey shimmering fabric offset by the on-trend suede stripes.

Most striking of all is the change in the lacing system: there's no cotton waiting to be ruined by rain, a nylon cord keeping the ZX Flux secure with a pull-to-tighten toggle system.

With an early drop already snapped up on Suppa, you'll need to keep your eyes on adidas.co.uk in the coming months for a wider release. Just have to think of them as an early investment.
