Penfield delve into their archives for new Bear Pack capsule

Penfield is looking backwards for inspiration for its new capsule: the Bear Pack. Reverting back to their old bear-laded logo (which reminds us: haven’t seen Herzog’s documentary Grizzly Man in a while), the brand is delving into its rich archives of the ‘80s and ‘90s, and coming up with the goods from the look of this alpine/streetwear collection.

Reviving old favourites with modern tech construction, the Bear Pack boasts bold block colourways that evoke ‘80s Americana (and a little bit of NASA–but maybe that’s just us) and high-performance fabrics that are practical and soft. 

Might be a little too cold to work into your wardrobe immediately after its 1 December launch, but with some patience (or some choice layer (or a couple of beers)) you’ll be fine: the retro sportswear look isn’t going away, especially not when it features timeless styles like these. Keep ‘em coming, boys. Happy archive hunting.
