B12 injections, vitamin drips and more extreme grooming treatments

The next stage in men's grooming is here! Will you be getting any treatments done?

27 July 2016

Five years ago the only grooming men indulged in was the odd bit of moisturiser and using some of their girlfriend’s shampoo. In 2016 men now go for weekly beard trims, have full on skin care regimes and have better smelling hair products than women.

This evolution in men’s grooming got us thinking: where will be at in another five years time? Will it be the norm for guys to get collagen injections? Pubic hair transplants? Kardashian style butt implants?! Probably not that extreme, but there’s a few treatments on the market today that might be huge in the next few years…

Vitamin drips

There’s a lot of vitamins about and to get all of them in you in one day you’d need to be constantly eating fruit and taking tablets. Ain’t no one got time for that! Instead, just hook yourself up to an IV and get them dripped in to you with a vitamin drip to improve the quality of your hair, nails and skin, as well as giving you a much needed energy boost.

LED light treatment

It’s like being on a beach without a cocktail or annoying children. LED light treatment provides a non-invasive, pain-free solution for the prevention, repair and maintenance of ageing, damaged and uneven skin. Using the Healite II, the latest in LED light technology, the treatment, lasting just 11 minutes, uses near-infrared light (the opposite of damaging UV) to rejuvenate and repair the skin’s cells while encouraging the body’s own production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

Ear flaming

This has been a Turkish tradition for many years, but for Brits, having a stick on fire flung at your ears can be a bit unnerving. But as we get older we do get ear hair, and this is a quick and cool way to get rid of the fuzz.

B12 injections

This is what Rihanna gets injected into her booty when she’s had a massive one. Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps keep the body's nerve and blood cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent megaloblastic anemia that makes people tired and weak.

High performance facials

No, it’s not just for psychotic serial killers like Patrick Bateman, they’re a great way to smooth all signs of stress and tiredness from the skin and remove impurities and surface dead skin cells. And the procedure is not overtly feminine, there’s no cucumbers on the eyes and whale music playing the background, just see it as a long face massage that’ll give you the skin quality of a 3 year old.
