The Formal Nike Tracksuit

Save for disguising the paunch of many an overweight manager, the football tracksuit has seldom been fetching. Until now, that is.

What you see before you is the ‘Nike N98 Track Suit’, an exclusive collaboration between Nike and Ozwald Boateng, given to those Brazil players already looking annoyingly stylish on the pitch at the 2014 World Cup.

Originally imagined for Brazil’s 1998 World Cup campaign in France, it’s taken the creative genius of Saville Row maverick Boateng to bring this to reality, incorporating refined sartorial grace with the light-textured practicality of a sporty tracksuit.

All the squad have been given their own made-to-measure numbers, meaning you'll have to wait a while for a general release. It weighs just 260 grams, boats ribbed cuffs and laser-cut trims, and the soft wool is airy and breathable - as you might well expect given the melting temperatures over there.

In fact, the only other suit you'd possibly get away with wearing in Brazil right now is your birthday suit. And nobody wants that.
