World’s Longest Urban Zip-line

Conventional wisdom would suggest you hold on tight while hurtling down the world’s largest urban zip-line from atop a 700ft building. But then conventional wisdom never looked really, really cool did it?

Held in Panama City – a place we can only assume they chose for its lack of health and safety regulations – this recent stunt had a band of daredevils not only ride a 10,000ft line downwards, but up the danger by disconnecting midway, free fall and release a parachute.

To add to this BASE jumping-meets-Gladiators insanity, many of the crew carry this act out while gripping onto a camera from sponsors Speed Stick Gear, treating us to an even closer look at the spine-tingling feats.

Because whether you’re riding a bike or falling through the air from a zip-line in the middle of Panama City, nothing says ‘I’m cool’ quite like doing it one-handed.

We’ll leave the latter to the professionals for now though.
