“I have two ambitions in life,” said the late Oliver Reed. “One is to drink every pub dry, the other is to sleep with every woman on Earth.” He was quite insane. However, concentrating on the former, ShortList is somewhat in accord.

As our weekly Pints + Pistachios column proves, we know a good pub when we eat/drink in one, and we’ve eaten/drunk in a great many across the UK over the past few years. But now, we need your expertise. Our Pints + Pistachios Awards salutes the finest new boozers, and it’s a chance for you to select your favourite new pub.

Simply click here, vote for one of the 30 pubs and it could win one of our gongs. The winner will be announced at a ceremony at the Old Brewery at the end of July, plus one voter will win a chance to brew their own beer with Meantime, and there will even be cases of Meantime beer for runners-up.
