The bedroom walls of teens and desktop backgrounds of office workers are about to turn a shiny shade of metallic red.
Unveiled at this week's North American International Auto Show in Detroit, this scarlet beast is the Toyota FT-1. While it won't be rolling into forecourts any time soon, this curved hunk of steel could inform future sports designs from the Japanese manufacturer (the "FT" stands for Future Toyota).
However, unlike most concept cars, anyone can drive the FT-1 - after a fashion. Toyota have teamed up with Gran Turismo 6 designers Polyphony Digital to create a version of the FT-1 for the racing simulator. Just as well - attempting to reverse park the real thing must be a nightmare.
