Finding time alone during the Christmas period can be tough. Long-lost relatives, busy high streets, jam-packed trains; it's understandable that you'd want some time for yourself.
For many of us, this house in Fogo Island, Canada, is looking like an ideal place to be right now. Located by the sea and perched on a seemingly uninhabitable rockface, you'd be guaranteed a total lack of neighbours.
Created by architect Todd Saunders as an artist's studio, the building is flooded with natural light. Fogo Island itself is a quiet place in Newfoundland which prides itself on its crab and lobster fisheries. Not that you needed any more reasons to want to go visit.
