We’re really sorry to be the bearers of bad news but the end is nigh folks.
Sure, you might think that we’re getting ahead of ourselves, especially following the last week or so of doom mongering around the ‘blood moon’ end of world prophecies but this times it’s really going to happen. Probably.
At least according to eBible Fellowship leader Chris McGann. The online Christian organisation has been studying the bible pretty hard over the last few years for prophetic messages, and in the words of their leader McGann:
“According to what the Bible is presenting it does appear that 7 October will be the day that God has spoken of: in which, the world will pass away.
“It’s be gone forever. Annihilated.” The most likely method, he adds, “With fire.”
“God destroyed the first Earth with water, by a flood, in the days of Noah. And he says he’ll not do that again, not by water. But he does say in 2nd Peter 3 that he’ll destroy it by fire.”
Which sounds awful really. The prediction is apparently based around Harold Camping’s (a Christian radio host) claims way back in 2011 that the Rapture would come on May 21, 2011 with the full blown end of the world happening later that year in October. Obviously this didn’t happen but apparently they missed a few pointers and McGann is mostly adamant that today is the day.
“There’s a strong likelihood that this will happen… which means there’s an unlikely possibility that it will not.”
So there you have it. An absolute dead cert. Take an early lunch, tell your bosses what you think of them and go for a walk in the park or something.
