The only occasions where this feat doesn't require panic are 1) when said vehicle is assembled by Q-branch, and b) when it happens to be the Strand Craft Wet Rod, a soon-to-be available seafarer lying somewhere between Aston Martin coupe and jet ski.
Capable of reaching 65Mph out on the waves with that V8 power, this carbon fibre 2-seater beauty looks a lot more refined than its sheer speed suggests, encompassing a waterproof luggage box, wood inlay, optional engine chrome dress up kit, sound system and GPS navigator for when you need to go ashore and restock on champagne in the under-seat ice box.
Fittingly accompanied with a James Bond theme tune in the video below, the craft is slated for mass production later this year with an eye-watering asking price of £30,000.
