The Richard Branson ice cubes

Chill out with a billionaire

The Richard Branson ice cubes
30 April 2012

If you've ever had the pleasure of travelling first class then you'll know that it's pretty much a different world up there.

Virgin Atlantic's astonishingly luxurious new Upper Class Cabin is designed to make you feel special. From the cocktail bar to the new, more comfortable beds, you'll probably have trouble travelling any other way again.

But it's not just the big things that they've been focusing on. As you relax at the bar with your glass of scotch, you might notice something rather intriguing about your ice cubes. Not only are they (probably) crafted from water that's been shipped and purified from the Fiji islands but they're also shaped like a certain Richard Branson.

They've been created using the exact measurements of the Virgin boss's head and the mould took a team of four designers a hard-working six weeks to create.

You know you've made it when there's an ice cube replica of your face.
