The Oddly Beautiful Knot Bike

We want to talk to you about body image.

No, nothing like that. So long as you're feeing healthy and comfortable, we're not going to force you to do press ups until the guilt goes away.

We want to talk about the unattainable standards of beauty which see the "unusual" left feeling isolated and victimised - in the world of bikes, we mean. For too long, hipsters have been stuck with the idea that the perfect fixie has a drop handlebar, steel asymmetric frame and single lever break. The bikes of Italian-based Otto Milano are about to broaden your horizons somewhat.

Constructed in Milan, the Otto range consists of three models, each incorporated their stylish knotted frame: the Absolute Fixie is just that (a true thigh-killing fixie with no brakes) and drop handles. The Smart City is a near identical design, switching out the drop handles for an elegant curved wooden bar, again free of gearing and breaks. The Grand Touring looks more like a traditional tourer, with saddle bag, break discs and larger tyres.

Each model is available in green or white, with orders available via email

At least it's knot your average bike?
