The junk drawers of pop culture

A gel for muscle cramps. Three theatre ticket stubs, two bloodied. A spare batarang.

These marvellous 'junk drawers' are the work of US designer Matt Stevens, the result of pondering what a crime fighting vigilantes, beloved meth cooks and bell boys would keep in their bedside tables.

Like a downscaled Through the Keyhole, each print shows a collection of “random and forgotten items in their personal storage space”, each a veritable treasure trove of key props and iconic devices linked to each character's story and universe.

You can pick up one of Stevens' prints at his online store.
