The house with a slide

Remember when you were a schoolboy and you'd be assigned with the task of drawing up what your dream house would look like? Chances are the walls were made of chocolate, there was a rollercoaster in the garden and you'd have a pet dragon to ward off any potential intruders.

While most of these may never come true (unless you're richer than you look), it looks like one childish dream might be tantalisingly close to reality.

In Tokyo, Japanese architecture firm Level Architects have created a house which gives you the option of taking the boring stairs or using an actual slide to get to the ground floor. An actual slide.

Admittedly the three-storey plaything is meant for kids as there's also a ball pen reachable on the first floor but, assuming our width allows for it, we'd happily choose the slide over the stairs any day.
