5. Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupé

The new S-Class coupé goes on sale here in November for £100k, and boasts a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds. Plus, it also features ‘Magic Body Control System’, which ensures you’re not heading for bumps at 155mph.

4. Land Rover Discovery Concept

When a car partners with Virgin Galactic, you know it’ll be something special. The ‘invisible bonnet’ (a live video feed that projects a see-through front of the car) improves visibility for off-roading, and makes parking easier, while ‘smart glass’ projects your cloud data on to the windscreen and even lets you ‘change the weather’ by transforming the ceiling into a sunny blue sky.

3. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible

Chevy sticks to the old adage of “If it ain’t broke, don’t do anything to it except remove the roof”, as its 6.2-litre V8, 625hp Corvette Z06 Coupé receives a convertible upgrade. And just in time for summer, too.

2. BMW X4

Available in just a matter of months (12 July) for a very reasonable price (£36,590, if you want to get specific), BMW’s latest blends sporty coupé aesthetics with family-car practicality to superb effect.

1. 2015 Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition

Topping our list as it did the Empire State Building recently, Ford's 50 Year celebration of The Mustang is a brilliant one. Detailing such as the cashmere-stitched, leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a unique dash of luxury, though those unique, rugged curves remain, giving it instant classic status. While, in a bonus for UK readers, this beauty will be the first ever Mustang to get a European release.
