But as the world's economy enters meltdown, some entrepreneurs aren't sitting by idly twiddling their thumbs. No sir. They're capitalising on the intense paranoia gripping the planet that at any time someone could break into your house and take your cat.

Behold, the Bedbunker, state-of-the-art gun safes hidden inside beds in which homeowners can store 35 rifles and 70 hand guns while they sleep sound. Inventor John Adrain, from Heracles Research Corporation, said a number of billionaires have bagged a bunker.

It's made in the USA with a 10 gauge steel body and ¼” 140 lb gas piston assist doors. Little surprise being as it weighs 1300lbs (92 stone) and features locks used in government high security buildings like, we're quoting "the Pentagon".
