The 1920s Racer-Inspired Motoped Cruzer

The 1920s Racer-Inspired Motoped Cruzer

The 1920s Racer-Inspired Motoped Cruzer

Back when board-track racing was popular in the US, alcohol was consumed in speakeasies, women were known as dames and said racers relied on steep wooden planks to achieve their daring speed.

There’ll be no incline needed to boost the speed on a Motoped Cruzer, mind. Taking its cues from the elongated stainless steel tank, brass accents and wood fenders from those classic 1910s and 1920s racers, much of a century’s worth of motoring design has been ignored in favour of the simple, stripped-back looks of yesteryear - only with a better engine.

The model, priced at £1,575, runs on a zippy 49cc engine and even comes with a set of pedals for good measure - so whether you’re content cruising or would rather conserve fuel, you’ve always got an option of manual or motorised when riding the Cruzer, ideally equipped to navigate city traffic just as well as bumpy country roads.

Though with one single tank of fuel capable of lasting between 100 to 150 miles at a time, you probably won’t have to worry about using too much leg power.
