Simpsons Dolls Banned in Iran

But Spidey is A-okay

Simpsons Dolls Banned in Iran

An independent newspaper in Iran has reported that a government-affiliated agency has banned dolls featuring the Simpsons characters to avoid the promotion of the big bad West.

The move puts Homer on the same blacklist as that b*tch Barbie, which Iran called a “Trojan Horse” in 1996.

Apparently toys featuring Superman and Spider-Man were deemed okay because they help “the oppressed people and they have a positive stance”.

About $20 million worth of illegal toys were smuggled into the country last year.
