Amazingly no-one was injured as the vessel came in to land, as part of a tactical mission.
In brilliantly understated manner, a spokesman for the defence ministry was quoted as saying to local newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda that "Docking at the beach ... is a normal event. What people were doing at the beach on the territory of a military (base) is unclear."
