It's interesting to think whether film writers are ever sure which of their lines will become the iconic one, quoted ad infinitum by fans of the movie. Do they meticulously plan them, or does it all just happen by chance?
Either way, there's no denying that many classic movies feature that one line that instantly takes you back to the film, and designer Gordon Reid appreciates that, creating these fantastic retro posters featuring iconic quotes from Jurassic Park, Back To The Future, Robocop and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, mixed with subtle homages to the general style of the film.
The Back To The Future print is based on the pattern from Marty McFly's bed clothes, together with the colour scheme from the hoverboard; see if you can work out the design influences for the others too.
