Life: basically just loads of annoying obstacles to overcome. Sometimes you use your wits, sometimes you use your brains: sometimes, you do something really stupid and it ends up working just as well. 

In the spirit of ingenious stupidity,  Reddit users have been sharing their less intellectual problem-solving techniques - all of which, somehow, worked. 

Take this guy, for example, who found a deceptively and kind of stupidly easy way around an expensive trip to the doctors:

Or this guy, who somehow got out of a responsibility that was probably his to begin with:

Then there’s the solutions in the ‘so stupid it’s kind of genius’ category.

That doesn’t mean that all of the ideas are actually good, though. Don’t try these at home.
