Photographer gives context to tweets

Real world Twitter

After firing off a tweet, it's often easy to forget that outside of your own 20ish followers, there's a whole world of actual people that can see what you're up to.

While some users could do with a stern reminder of this (there are only so many 'cant believe its rainin lol' tweets we can stand to read), it's also interesting to imagine what a stranger might assume from your Twitter profile.

Photographer Michael Hughes decided to investigate some local tweets and went about capturing the context of each 140-character statement. His collection of pictures show various locals in the very location they originally tweeted.

He's still on the lookout for subjects if you're willing and you can find out more here.
