We were never that good at chemistry. Hydrogen bonds and noble gases couldn't compete with the joys of obliterating Claire Stevens' pencil case with a Bunsen burner.

We'd have undoubtedly paid a lot more attention if Lekan Jeyifous had been charged with designing our text books.

The Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based artist and designer has drawn inspiration from the periodic table, transforming the states of the USA, countries of Africa and states of Chicago, Brooklyn and Manhattan into brilliantly clear infographic maps.
