Octopus Table

Most tables get away with just the 4 legs, but this one has 8, so it must be twice as good.

This incredible functional sculpture was made by Isaac Krauss, with the help of fellow artists including Alex Friend, and took around 2 and a half years, taking in 1500 man-hours of time. In addition, he spent $5000 of his own money to make his dream a reality.

It is predominantly made of bronze, is a cubic metre in size, and features around 1000 suction cups, with the eye being made of specially blown glass.

The octopus is available for purchase, but beware shipping costs; this monster weighs around 500lbs.
