New app removes Chris Brown from the net

Bit sick of reading about Chris Brown and what an all-round villain he is? Fret no more.

A new app called 'Brownout' removes every trace of the disgraced singer from your browser so you can surf the internet without having to tut at your desk so much.

It was created by music blog AUX who made it in response to Brown's latest tattoo of what appears to be a bruised and bloodied woman.

"All we had to do is build a frame where it recognises the word and ignores it and literally erases it," online producer Sam Sutherland told CBS Local. "You can see everything except his name and his face."

Once downloaded, the app replaces any mention or image with a box.

It's not the first time that AUX have done this. They also created Nickelblock which you can probably work out for yourself. Good work guys.

You can find out how to download it here and then enjoy a Chris Brown-free life from then on.
