Man Steals Ambulance Outside Police Station

You really have to admire this sort of ridiculous behaviour.

33-year-old Arizona resident Cesar Garcia started his day by getting arrested for drinking a beer in a grocery store. Having been taken to Chandler police station, issued with a citation and released, he then decided to commandeer an unattended ambulance that was parked outside.

Police Sergeant Joe Favazzo commented, “It appears that Garcia did not want to walk home.”

Police tracked it using GPS and alerted officers, who tried to stop it at nearby Tempe - however, he ignored them and took it to his home in Guadalupe.

After a 'physical altercation', he was then arrested for a second time and charged with felony motor vehicle theft, two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, felony flight, and aggravated driving under the influence.

The bus would surely have been easier, Cesar.
