Man creates world's smallest frog

Usually when a bizarre new animal mutation is announced, it's down to a solid(ish) scientific reason. For example, the glowing Korean dog was made that way to help cure Alzheimer's. Obviously.

But when a Chinese professor declared that he'd created the world's smallest frog, his main purpose was stone cold cash. Hu Gansheng spent his spare time catching frogs and cross-breeding them in his crazy frog factory while simultaneously sticking his finger up at Mother Nature.

The frogs are only 0.5cm long but can leap up to 10cm. Gansheng plans to breed more so he can sell them as novelty pets. God plans to send a plague of locusts to his university.
