London Bus Does Push-Ups

Controversial Czech artist David Cerny has eased off on the controversy and built a London bus that does push-ups, to mark the Olympics.

Cerny bought the 1957 London bus from an owner in Holland and attached two arms and an electrical engine to make the bus "exercise". He has named it the London Booster and placed it in Islington, North London, near to where the Czech Olympics team are staying. It comes complete with recordings of a groaning voice.

"There is one common exercise for every sportsman in the world, and that is push ups," he told Sky.

"So I thought the push ups would be perfect fun. The thing about the push ups is also that in one hand it is training for sport activities but at the same time it is also punishment in armies or prisons."
