Kanye West is currently under observation at a Los Angeles hospital after police were called to his LA home on a disturbance call on Monday afternoon.

Yeezy, who yesterday disappointed thousands of fans by cancelling a string of dates for his Saint Pablo tour, was taken away by emergency services and is said to be being treated for “exhaustion”, according to a source close to the West family.

"At 13:20 pacific time, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an unspecified medical aid request," a spokesperson for the LAFD service said. "An adult male described as medically stable was taken to an area hospital for further assessment."

His trip in the ambulance is the latest in a string of bizarre events for Kanye – on Thursday night the rapper turned up late to his own show in San Jose, California before going off on a massive political rant about his support for Trump. He did the same just a few nights later in Sacramento, California, but also called out Jay-Z for not visiting him following the armed robbery in Paris in October that targeted his family, and also berated Mark Zuckerberg for not giving him $53million.

"Get ready to have a field day, press, because the show's over" were his final words on stage before dropping his microphone and walking out.

Kanye’s wife, Kim, was in New York at the time of the ‘disturbance’, attending an event to honour her late father Rob Kardashian, but immediately flew back to Los Angeles when she learned of his situation.

On Monday, Kanye’s mother-in-law Kris Jenner spoke to a US magazine about his condition: "He's exhausted. He's just really tired," she said. "He's had a grueling tour and it's been a grind, so he just needs to rest."
