Joyful Ball Boy Can’t Resist Joining in Goal Celebration

Money, TV deals, bling, holidaying in Dubai and 'hippy crack'. That's what modern football's all about these days isn't it?

Well, not for one heroic ball boy.

With early-season pace-setters Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 down at home to Dagenham & Redbridge, with 94 minutes on the clock in a League Two match on Saturday, it looked like the game was lost until a hopeful lofted cross from Michael Harriman was powerfully headed in by defender Aaron Pierre.

The equaliser sparked jubilation around Adams Park, not least from the ball boy nearest the goal - revealed as a young man named Taylor Hunt - who, in utter joy, decided to join in the team's celebrations, leaping with wild abandon onto the goalscorer, who looked rather surprised to find a small person clinging on to him for dear life.
