Intricate Hand-Carved Pencil Sculptures

While scholars still toss about the question of how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, we've gained some clarity as to how much art you can fit on the tip of a pencil.

A lot.

This exacting answer has been offered up by Russian artist Salavat Fidai, whose super human concentration and deft hand control allows him to use pencil graphite as a medium for detailed sculptures.

Created with soft graphic pencils, some sharp tools and hours under a magnifying glass, the series of sculptures includes pop culture figures and assorted objects. You can see his full series over on his Behance page.

Now, what can he make out of a rubber?
