Spitalfield's Market Hosts a Weekend Of Creative Talent powered by Intel® Technology

“Experience Intel. Look Inside” Comes To London as Part of Global Interactive Tour

Intel’s “Experience Intel. Look Inside” tour has arrived in London with an installation in Spitalfields Market from 12-14 July.

Showcasing cutting-edge devices and creative artists, “Experience Intel” brings out the curious cyber geek in us all by bringing you closer to the exciting innovations powered by Intel technology.

Having launched in New York last month, “Experience Intel” is touring the world for six months, visiting cities including Beijing, Moscow and Tokyo. The tour allows us mere mortals to test out a new range of gadgets including the latest 2-in-1, touch-enabled Ultrabook™, thin and light laptops, tablets, All-in-One PCs and smartphones.

The showcase spans art, data visualization and gaming, providing audiences with creative introductions to the Ultrabook device's unique capabilities and features, perfectly at home in Spitalfields’s artistic quarter. Examples of the exhibits on show include:

Matt Pyke of renowned design studio Universal Everything, has created an experiential design piece called ‘Gliders’, which transforms guests' drawings into a digital flock of "wings" interacting with one another and projected on the walls of the installation. Guests are able to control the flight pattern of their “wing” through movements, along with experiencing an airborne view of the flight. Click here to see the video.

The Office of Creative Research, a multi-disciplinary research group, has created custom data visualizations around the evolution of the computer, highlighting dramatic changes in speed, power and the size of computers in recent history. See the video here.

Visitors can also look forward to being amongst the first in the world to play the only game created specifically for Ultrabook convertibles, from independent gaming studio Hide & Seek. Click here to see the video.

Every day will offer a new experience and interactive presentations from a variety of tech-savvy experts, eager to showcase their creations. What’s more, you will have the chance to win a variety of products including laptops, headphones and smartphones which are on offer each day. And if the hands-on gaming isn’t enough, you can expect entertainment from high-energy performers Acroyoga and Xpogo.
