Otherwise, Operation would be a much bloodier affair, Buckaroo would incur the wrath of animal welfare workers, and turning Monopoly money into legitimate currency would see the world pretty much explode in a sea of overinflation and solid silver race cars.
 
Still, we’d be lying if we said we hadn’t dreamed of being able to spend Monopoly Money outside the game - which means we’re thrilled by news that Hasbro have filled some sets of the board game with actual money.
 
Limited to just 80 boxes, inevitably to end up in the hands of gleefully random families, the games manufacturer has replace every note with an actual Euro (that’s €20,580) in a variety of sets including original, junior, electronic and vintage.
