Game Of Thrones Subway Maps
07 August 2014

If you’ve ever stood freezing on the platform at Bloody Gate because your train headed to Castle Black is delayed at Shadow Tower, you’d be a liar - a big, bare-faced liar.

For there are no subway stops George R.R. Martin’s Game Of Thrones. Although after laying eyes on this neat series of transit maps for Westeros, from designer Michael Tyznik, we wouldn’t blame you for wishing there were.

Shrewdly using the direction of certain lines to allude to certain plot points in the stories, the maps are so fleshed out that that if we were ever thrown into the realm, we wouldn't mind swapping the witchcraft of riding a subway to those backside-affecting trips on horseback.

One tip worth remembering when traveling to a wedding, mind: best not hop on the red line.
