First iPad used in commons

Just when you were starting to feel as if everyone you knew had an iPad, prepare to feel even more left out.

Politicians, a race of people not usually associated with technological advancement, have now got their greasy hands on the Apple must-have and are smugly flaunting it in front of our jealous faces.

This week saw an all-time first as a speech was delivered in the House of Commons with assistance from an iPad. They've been allowed inside for a few weeks now but it was Bristol East MP Kerry McCarthy who became the first to use hers so publicly.

She claims that it was accidental as the speech was being revised so much before she spoke yet if you examine her finger movements at various points it's embarrassingly clear that she was on level 3-12 of Angry Birds and couldn't rest until it was finished.
