Film And TV Shows Reimagined As Hipster Logos

Had Marty McFly driven his Delorean to a more realistic 2015, he’d probably have had to check the speedometer wasn't on the fritz. Hill Valley would have looked exactly as it had done in the ‘50s: full of people riding around on fixies, wearing vintage clothing and rifling through vinyl in record stores.

Introducing Cine-Hipsters, an art series which sees classic films and TV shows boiled down to a minimalist and retro style associated with hipsters – and, naturally, Back to the Future is on the list.

Taking the props and iconography of cult classics, a graphic designer known as Mainger has boiled the likes of Pulp Fiction (Big Kahuna burger, old watch) and more down to the sum of their coolest parts.

Best of all, they’re now available to buy from the artist’s website from as little as £8 in case you want to hang one on your wall.

Oh go on – the brickwork inside your Williamsburg organic juice bar is looking a bit bare.
