Famous Architects in their own Windows

It's easy to overlook them, but the humble window can often be a crucial and distinctive part of a building's design.

Architect and illustrator Federico Babina, who we have featured several times before, has produced another fantastic collection, entitled 'Archiwindows', which depict the silhouettes of a host of famous architects looking out from within their own creations.

Speaking to Dezeen, he said that the windows in his work are “like paintings framing narratives and stories...I wanted to spy as a ‘voyeur’ the architectural life that is hidden behind a window, to observe the architects and their languages as observing from a keyhole.”

Check out our favourite 15 below, and head on over to Federico's website to view the entire collection of 26.
