Explosive pictures

Call us immature little boys but we love to watch things blow up (legally we have to stress that said things are inanimate, contain no people, animals, insects or ghosts and were exploded by responsible explosive experts).

We're therefore a little bit drooly after seeing these photos from Alan Sailer, who specialises in hurtling various things through other things and capturing the destructive results.

From rhubarb to crayons to an egg, Sailer took a great amount of glee from testing out various combos. Needless to say, don't try this at home or work or your specially prepared explosives laboratory.

You can see more of his work here.
