Trump spoke about space in front of Buzz Aldrin and Buzz's face was one hell of a picture

A few things about Buzz Aldrin: his real name is Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr, he had the best astronaunt cameo in a Simpsons episode, and he he clearly has no time for Donald Trump.

This past Friday saw President Donald Trump sign an executive order to revive the National Space Council. The Council works as an executive body to look into space exploration, and to liven things up the 45th President brought out Buzz Aldrin to add a little pizzaz to proceedings.

The only problem is, Buzz Aldrin clearly cannot be bothered with Donald Trump.

How did he piss off Buzz so much? Mostly by not laughing at his Toy Story joke. It appears that partway through a speech about the powers of space, (actual Trump line: “At some point in the future, we’re going to look back and say, ‘How did we do it without space?’”) Donald Trump turned to Buzz and asked “We know what this is, space. That’s all it has to say: space. There’s a lot of room out there, right?”

To which Aldrin replied: “To infinity, and beyond”.

There. Simple. A nice Toy Story joke. Buzz Aldrin jokes about Buzz Lightyear. A nice daisy cutter joke that old men and children could understand. Perfect for the headlines the next day.

Only, the joke completely went over Donald Trump’s head: the President rambled: “This is infinity here. It could be infinity,” clearly never having seen Toy Story before. “We don’t really don’t know. But it could be. It has to be something — but it could be infinity, right?”

Cue the incredible Buzz Aldrin reaction:

To be fair, Buzz’s face is the face of pretty much all of us whenever Trump says anything. He’s has absolutely no time for the President, and isn’t afraid to show it.

Also, here's a video of Buzz Aldrin punching a man who called the Apollo 11 landings fake. Just because.
